Things are happening so fast. As I mentioned in my comment on yesterday’s blog entry, one of the newspapers contacted me to schedule an interview. I’ll be chatting with their columnist tomorrow. The piece will focus more on me as the local boy making it big, but Maiden of Pain (and probably RotD2) will definitely be plugged.
I also got an email today from Ginger informing me that Maiden will be the featured book on WotC’s website in June. I need to submit a self-interview, bio, and a character profile. I’m leaning towards Kestus, the leader of the underground Mage Society in Luthcheq. While Ythnel, the protagonist, might seem like the obvious and easy choice, Maiden is her story, and I really don’t want to take away from that.
Finally, I’m really enjoying reading everyone’s contribution to RotD2. I read through the excerpt from Maiden last night, and was surprised to see that it was only the first part of chapter 4, and not the entire chapter. I guess Phil really likes to tease.
