The interview I did with the local newspaper a couple weeks ago came out yesterday. I bought a couple extra copies for the folks. I’m so excited, but there are a couple of misquotes. First, the stories I wrote in the third grade were not based on my D&D adventures. Second, I never dressed up in the basement to play D&D. In fact, I explicitly told him I didn’t. Oh, well. I suppose I can live with the inevitable ribbing as long as it produces more sales.
I still haven’t heard back from Borders about a date for the book signing. As soon as I do, I’ll post it to my Events page.

That sucks with the misquotes. That’s a definate sign of bad journalism. And there’s so much of it these days.

BTW: You have another book deal? Sweet!
BTW 2: This guy writes in really small sections. Every sentence has a different paragraph and it sort of drew my attention away. Another bad journalism quality. And also, they didn’t bother separating your interview from a Styx concert schedule. Silly, silly Washingtonite.

Yeah, the paper version has a bold header that separates the two parts, but the online version did not. As for the book deal, nothing is final yet. I was asked to submit a proposal. Still waiting to hear back.

Ick. That was a poorly written article, but hopefully it’ll get the word out so more people can view your work!

I agree that wasn’t the best of articles (I’ll spare it the “6 years as a hardened Journalist analysis), but it can’t be a bad thing to see yourself in print.
Good luck on the “secret project.” (wink wink)
Congrats!
